Married with three sons. My wife is a professional french horn player and nurse manager. We live in Chapel Hill, NC after many years in Atlanta, GA.
I was a ham radio operator for many years. I built my first pair of speakers (electrostats) when I was 15, and have since built about 20 more pairs over the years. I've processed thousands of photos in darkrooms. After formative years as a mathematician (thanks to Arnold Ross at OSU) I turned into a computer geek.
I've worked as a Janitor, Electrical Engineer, Writer, College Professor, Systems Analyst, Programmer, CEO, CIO, Marketing VP, R&D VP, and any other hat I seem able to find. I'll play anything - especially bridge.
I specialize in image processing, optimization, UI design, and general architecture.
